Park Plaza

The Park Plaza has taken a whole new approach to the space that used to be Bonfire. New design, new chef, new menu, lets shoot!  Once again the client request is for environmental food shoots, working Chef shots and lifestyle photography.

We started outside with breakfast.

This signature french toast was amazing.

And below is what we consider a perfect breakfast for two!

Friends food and drinks after work - lifestyle

The Chef prepping some interior food shots.

Reviewing the image to make sure we got the shot and that every detail is
the way we want it.

Porche

It was an exciting day when Porche called.  Our set for the day was the Claire Porche dealership in Westwood MA and we had two equally hot subjects.  First was our gorgeous model and second the red hot car we choose from an endless selection of dream cars.  We had a great team we were working with that included the award winning Mizu hair salon.  The team setup hair and makeup in the dealership and by the end of the day we had made friends with every sales person and mechanic in the shop.

While hair and makeup did their thing, we lit the location and set the scene.

Two exotic beauties

After we wrapped up our second to last location we moved into the service bay.  Let’s just say that this was like a hospital for cars.  Never have I seen a “garage” so clean, orderly and high tech.  Part of the fun was hand picking the best of the
best cars and colors for such a "large" shot.

One of the final ads below.

And it’s always cool seeing your work on a billboard.

Correx

It's always exciting to work tabletop photography in the Boston area.  With a high density of biotech companies the studio frequently gets the opportunity to photograph the latest in lifesaving tools.  The first step is a crash course in how to use the tool.

The Correx AVB Kit is a complete device system for Aortic Valve Bypass (AVB), a lesser known treatment for patients with critical aortic stenosis.

The Applicator
The Applicator cuts a perfectly round hole into the patients heart. Learning about the process was fascinating, photographing it was a combination of being an artist and doctor.

The end result is not a textbook image for practical use but a power image for sales and marketing.

Active Kitchen

When the Active Kitchen needed interior architectural photography mixed with lifestyle photography, food photography from one photographer, they knew who to call.  It's a long wish list of desired images and not that many photographers have the skills to capture all the styles but with the vast experience of high-end hotel work these styles are a must to have mastered.  The results are below ~

The dynamic range of photography culminated on the final day with over 20 models and the support staff that could fill a bus.

Organizing multiple small groups and having them actually prepare a dinner, professionally light them, capture expressions and show a story was another feat in it’s self.

With the help of a crack team of professionals, all our hard work paid off and the images have been used extensively with a successful multimedia campaign.  If you’re looking for that unique spot to spend time with good friends or team building with your company this is a perfect place to go.

Time Lapse

The Liberty Hotel is not an easy place to describe so I always try to direct people to their website to literally give them a better picture. And one of the coolest features is the time lapse videos created from our images.

There are four throughout the website but below you can find them all easily in one place. They're really hard to watch only once.

Lobby
It speaks for itself

Hotel Room
Is this view of Boston not amazing at all times of day?

Clink.
I am in love with the sunlight the restaurant sees all day!

Ballroom
From business to pleasure

Aerial

It’s part of our job to provide our clients with a different perspective then they are used to.
Not long ago we were contracted to capture the Boston skyline to give our clients a whole new way to show themselves off.

What better way than hovering hundreds of feet above the buildings and hanging out the door of a helicopter to get the images.

Growing up flying airplanes Dominic loves every chance he has to take flight. The Boston skyline is always changing so things are a bit different than the last time he was hanging out the door of a helicopter.

Scroll down to see just what an amazing day we had.

Pre-sunrise lift off

Doors on or off was the question, the temperature decided that...
But what I would need to do is hold the door open with my leg sticking out of the helicopter.
Not easy but worth not freezing.

Seeing the sun rise was amazing

Logan approach was kind enough to allow some low level flight in and around one of the busier airports in the world.

The results are stunning
I love the early light passing through the arch

Door open, leg stretched out, seatbelt secure (I hope)

The clients couldn't have been more thrilled to have such imagery and
with the safe landing it was an all around successful day!
